Description
Meet our team and enjoy the ride of the Chianti wine region while learning about the area and hearing interesting facts about Tuscany while enjoying the view of the rolling hills around San Gimignano. Once at the HORSE RIDING SCHOOL, situated in a peaceful area immersed between the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, you will meet the horses before setting out.
Don’t worry if you haven’t ridden a horse before, it is a slow walk and the experienced staff will make sure you feel confident before leaving for a ride. We will ride in complete relaxation by lush vineyards, native woods, and olive groves for a collection of BREATHTAKING & UNFORGETTABLE VIEWS for about 1h.
After the ride, enjoy a traditional TUSCAN MEAL & WINE TASTING in a local winery with Antipasti Toscani (bruschetta, pecorino cheese, Tuscan cured meat), some Lasagna with truffle oil, traditional Ribolita bread Soup, and Cantuccini biscuits as dessert. Here you will be able to taste the famous Chianti Classico wine, the local Vernaccia white wine and some Super Tuscans.
Happy and possibly tipsy return back to the starting point where our tour will end.

REQUIREMENTS
- We recommend wearing closed shoes; no flip-flops or sandals. Wear long trousers. You can get changed at the ranch.
- Max weight accepted is 110kg
- No people younger than 15 years old
- We use English saddles. Previous experience is not required; It’s an easy walk, not a Trott.
- Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free option is available upon request

This tour was excellent and I recommend it to anyone. Our guides were very friendly and full of local knowledge. The horses we rode were very well looked after and the views were amazing.

Fantastic experience with amazing local food and wine. We were picked up in San Gimignano, and chatted with the host on the way to the stables – she told us some really interesting facts about the region, and what we could expect on the day. Rode (on horses) through the vineyards with views of San Gimignano. Followed by lunch at a local winery, where they served lots of local food and wine which was delicious. The trip started around 9am until about 1/2pm.
I would definitely recommend this trip, and will look to book another trip with Irene if we are in the region in the future!

What a MAGNIFICENT experience! Vincenzo was a fabulous guide, the horseback riding was perfect for me as a second time rider, the horses were super gentle and take great direction, and the scenery was WOW. We rode through the vineyards and roads around the vineyard for about 60-90 mins. The inclusive lunch at a vineyard of their choice was beyond my expectations. The vineyard is stunning, food was super delicious, and of course, the wine was plentiful. I would highly highly recommend this to everyone!

My family of 5 had a good time at this experience. While the horseback ride was about what we expected, the wine tasting was really the selling point of this excursion. The vineyard was stunning and the tasting was very well done. The ‘light lunch’ was much heavier than expected and a lovely surprise! Our driver was punctual and a great guide who took photos of us during the excursion which was a nice momento for the group.

This tour was so much fun. Irene was a great tour guide. She was very funny and gave us lots of great tips. She was very descriptive and was very knowledgeable of San Gimignano and the Tuscan region. The horses were beautiful and looked well taken care of. The wine tour was by far our favorite. The wine and the food pairings were delicious! 10/10 recommend!

Fun experience! Great small group. Horses were perfect and well behaved. We were asked in the beginning what level we are at in regards to riding. Food and drinks at the end were great! We had about 6 tastings. Irene, our host made the experience even better. She gave us recommendations, told us the history of certain areas and was so funny. I enjoyed this very much and would do it again.
