Description
During this experience, your local guide will literally open the doors to the house where she was born and raised, and where her parents now live and work. You’ll visit the home/studio of Maurizio Masini, a sculptor, and Christine Billing, a pianist, as they devote themselves to their art. Surrounded by marble blocks, lighting sculptures, tools, and musical instruments, they will share how their connection to the place they live has influenced them. Most importantly, they will showcase their talents: first in the artistic workshop, where you will witness a marble-carving demonstration with the chance to try it yourself, followed by a short piano concert, including piano and vocal duets! This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the art and history of a family born and raised in San Gimignano.
