Description
If you’re looking for an unforgettable food experience, this truffle hunting and cooking class in Tuscany is the perfect combination of nature, tradition, and flavor.
The adventure begins in the Tuscan countryside, where you’ll join a local truffle hunter and their trained dog for an authentic truffle hunting experience. The search takes place in a carefully selected area known for its abundance of truffle-producing trees, easy access, and stunning views of the rolling hills. After a brief introduction to truffle varieties and the secrets of dog training, you’ll dive into the forest and start the actual hunt. This is a hands-on, exciting moment that connects you with the land and local traditions.
Once the truffle hunting session is complete, you’ll be welcomed at a charming, family-run farm where the second part of your truffle hunting and cooking class in Tuscany begins. The setting is rustic and intimate — the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. Your culinary journey starts in the garden, where you’ll pick seasonal vegetables to use in your recipes.
Guided by a local cook, you’ll prepare a full Tuscan meal. The menu includes truffle bruschetta, two types of handmade pasta — one dressed with the truffles you found, the other with fresh vegetables from the garden — and a traditional dessert to finish. Every dish is made from scratch and reflects the rich culinary heritage of Tuscany.
The experience concludes with a shared lunch, enjoying everything you prepared, paired with excellent local wines. This truffle hunting and cooking class in Tuscany is more than just a lesson — it’s a deep, sensory immersion into the Tuscan lifestyle. Whether you’re a foodie, a nature lover, or simply curious, this is an unforgettable way to experience Tuscany like a local.

Wow! This was an unforgettable experience and one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip to Tuscany! The truffle hunt with Mirco was so much fun. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and his dogs were just amazing. We got to join the search ourselves and even took home some truffle goodies, which was such a cool surprise.
And then… the cooking class at Sant’Ulivieri? Incredible! Alice and Alessandro were the most welcoming, passionate hosts. We started by exploring their beautiful farm and picking herbs and vegetables that we later used in the kitchen, which added such an authentic touch.
Alice was so patient and fun as she taught us how to make gnocchi, tagliatelle, and hands down the best bruschetta we’ve ever had. Alessandro’s passion for food was contagious, and every bite was absolutely next level.
The wine was flowing, the food was incredible, and the company was even better. We left full, happy, and already dreaming about coming back. Thank you, Alice and Alessandro — you made us feel like part of the family. This Truffle Hunting and Cooking Class in Tuscany was one of the best things we did, a total must-do for anyone coming to the area!
