CHIANTI & PECORINO CHEESE TOUR

You’ll visit a family-run sheep farm in the Chianti countryside, where pecorino cheese is still produced using traditional methods. Here you’ll enjoy a guided visit and a tasting of different aged cheeses.
The tour continues at an organic or biodynamic winery, where you’ll sit down for a homemade Tuscan lunch paired with local wines and extra virgin olive oil, learning about natural winemaking in a relaxed countryside setting.
To complete the day, you’ll enjoy a stroll through a charming medieval village, soaking in panoramic views and timeless Tuscan atmosphere.

My husband and I did the chianti and pecorino cheese tour with Eugenio and it was a highlight of our trip! Eugenio was so friendly and shared facts about Italy and the local area as we were driving around. We visited two farms and had the most fabulous time learning about how they made their products (wine, cheese, olive oil) and getting to try several of them! They were also so accomodating of my celiac disease in providing gluten free options at each stop! We loved our time with Tuscan Organic tours and hope to use them again on a future Italy trip! I cannot recommend Organic Tours enough!! They were amazing in every way from planning to execution. Marcus was so helpful in helping us craft the perfect day doing the things we wanted to do. He was extremely professional, responsive and had tremendous attention to detail. On the day of our tour, our amazing guide, Enrico picked us up at our hotel in Florence and brought Chianti to life along our drive. We visited an amazing cheese farm and winery followed by a visit to the charming village of Montefioralle. One of the best things is that the farms and wineries are organic or biodynamic. It was by far one of the highlights of our trip; I will definitely use them again!!
