Description
On the way to Siena you will fall in love with the landscape and the many small local villages, including MONTERIGGIONI, also famous for being the set of “Gladiator”.
Once you arrive in Siena, follow your tour escort for an orientation walk of the city, passing the most famous sights and historic center and finally stopping at a local shop to taste traditional Sienese foods and sweets. The orientation walk will continue to the main square, Piazza del Campo, from where you will have free time to wander and discover the hidden beauties of this magical city at your leisure.
We will continue the journey through the TUSCAN HILLS to admire the numerous vineyards, olive trees, cypresses and everything that makes this land a dream place. We will finally stop at a LOCAL WINERY where you will visit the cellars accompanied by the helpful explanations of an expert to discover the traditions of the winemaking art, followed by a wine and olive oil tasting at the end. In the cellar you can taste up to 4 types of wine and buy local products at a great price to bring them back to your Hotel or send them to your home. Finally, enjoy an authentic Tuscan dinner before heading back.

We loved this tour! It was well worth the money. We got to explore 3 Tuscan towns plus had an excellent wine tasting. Our host, Valentina, was very informative and highly educated on the history of the towns. She was also very personable and gave us many tips for the town we were staying in! We highly recommend the small group tour. Would definitely do again!
