The white wines, grown exclusively on tuffaceous soils, are fresh, elegant, and aromatic, while the red wines, cultivated on rock-rich, well-drained terrain, offer depth, structure, and excellent aging potential, fully respecting local tradition.
A key element of the winery’s philosophy is its extended aging in barriques, carried out for significantly longer than is common today. We did a wine testing with Luca that was amazing. The wine was more then amazing , one of the best wineries I have ever been. Don’t miss it. worth it, we bought the Chianti bottle that was unique and outstanding , the white wine were also supper good

Sabato abbiamo avuto il piacere di visitare questa azienda familiare a pochissimi chilometri da San Gimignano accompagnati da Luigi che ci ha guidato in una piacevolissima chiacchierata in cantina culminata con la degustazione di 5 vini che ci ha permesso di conoscere ed apprezzare la Vernaccia , a noi poco nota, ed assaggiare il loro Chianti del 2017 davvero notevole (di cui abbiamo casualmente e meritatamente sentito tessere le lodi anche in un ristorante la sera successiva). Una bellissima realtà locale da sostenere e consigliare.

Absolutely loved it! We had a fantastic wine tasting with Luca. We had different kinds of white and red wine together with a selection of cheese and ham. Luca was a great host. You can feel his passion for wine and we definitely learnt a lot. We also bought a few bottles of our favourites and their own olive oil. I can only recommend to visit La Casa Rossa.
